I am grateful for: My family and their good health, my friends, occasional glimmers of insight
and dogs.

3 words that describe you: Happy, content and lazy.

Favorite yoga pose and why: Happy Baby – otherwise known as wind-relieving pose. Just kidding. My favorite pose is not static but changes from day to day, practice to practice.

Things I can’t live without: Food, air, water and a sense of humor.

Words to describe your teaching style: Alignment-oriented, welcoming and, I hope, fun.

When and where was your first yoga class?: In the basement of a Unitarian church in Knoxville, Tennessee somewhere in the vicinity of the mid-eighties.

What inspires you: People who have the courage to get up and out of bed every morning never knowing what the day will bring.

What do you do for fun: Fun for me is being with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading, the pursuit of a good bargain and playing Words With Friends.

Favorite place: Wherever home is.
