Class Descriptions
Basics
This is an introduction to vinyasa for those newer to yoga. It’s the perfect building block for your newer yoga practice or for those who want to just get back to basics. The room is a bit warm to help keep the muscles loose and elastic.
Power Vinyasa (Hot)
This all levels class leaves room for beginners to advanced yogis. This is an invigorating flow class of meditation in motion that will empower and transform you in body, mind and spirit. In our Power Vinyasa class we join vinyasa flow and power yoga. Class temperature is 90 degrees and humidity is 60%. We have the cleanest air on the northshore.
Hot Vinyasa – Open Level
This detoxifying, energetic practice blends sweat, strength, and flexibility in a class that tones the body and clears the mind. This class is open to students of all levels who are ready for a strong class. Room temp: 90 degree
Hot Vinyasa – Level 2
If you’re looking for a challenging way to expand your practice, this class is for you. Some more challenging poses and additional inversions may be offered as part of this flow class. All levels welcome. Room temp: 90 degrees
Vinyasa Flow (not hot)
If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen and into this class.
No Dogs Allowed
A great vinyasa classed with no down dogs, chatturanga or other asanas which might put pressure on the shoulder or wrists. A great, detoxifying yoga practice which will leave you sweating and refreshed. Room temp: 98 degrees
Athlete Recovery Yoga
This detox class is specifically designed to aid in the recovery process for those in training or for anyone looking for a deep, therapeutic stretch and twist class. If you’ve been feeling the negative effects of your challenging workout or the stresses of your week, this class will detoxify you, stretch and open your body so that you’re better equipped for your next challenging workout. Stay healthy and injury free by adding this to your routine. Room temp: 90 degrees
Slow Vinyasa Flow
This dynamic vinyasa class is heated to 90 degress and will move in a steady slow powerful flow. A great way to move through your practice meditatively with a rhythm that moves with your breath. Slow Flow Yoga poses promote mobility and healing in the body. Release the stiff muscles in your back, neck, shoulders and legs and find the relief your body has been asking for. This practice is therapeutic and invigorating. For those who are newer to yoga, recovering from an injury or simply want to move at a slow pace with ease and awareness.
